It is expected that this rating is used in those rate circumstances where contractor performance clearly exceeds the performance levels described as "excellent".
ISO 9001 Gap Analysis-2000
Compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 international standard
is now an absolutely essential requirement for every organization and business
desiring to maintain competiveness in the global economy. In December of
2000 JAVIS completed the ISO 9001 Gap Analysis Audit in pursuit of compliance
with international business standards.
JAVIS quality managers are up to challenge of the daunting and time-consuming
task of preparing the kind of comprehensive audit checklists required to
satisfy the the continuous need for internal audits in pursuit of quality
assurance.

The Commerce Information
Technology Solutions
Congratulations to the JAVIS team on winning their first 1.5 billion dollar
ID/IQ task order contract. The Commerce Information Technology Solutions
(COMMITS) contract is designed to provide information technology to the
government.
Its objective is to provide these solutions within
3 major functional areas. These functional areas are: Information Systems
Engineering (ISE), Information System Security (ISS), and System Operations
and Management (SOM).
Small
Business of the Year 2001 Award
JAVIS was recently notified by the Bureau of Reclamation in Sacramento,
California, that JAVIS won the the Department of the Interior Small Business
of the Year 2001 Award to be presented at an awards ceremony Jan 29,
2002.
JAVIS' west coast staff supported the Bureau of Reclamation with software
redesign of mission critical legacy application (from Ingress to Oracle
environment), conducted extensive (five state area) computer security analysis
and support, and provided extensive Business Process Re-engineering Support,
and received SEI Level 2 Certification.
