Database Support Defense Electronic Business Exchange (DEBX). EC/EDI INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT. The Regional Services Activities (RSA) in Columbus, Ohio handles over 40,000 transactions per month. Customer Support Activities at this location continues to grow and will require additional systems administration, and database management support on the Defense Electronic Business Exchange (DEBX). Network management tracking, Value-Added-Network (VAN) and gateway support are required to provide sustained operation of the RSAs and the DEBX. In addition, as technology has emerged, the Web has become an integral part of the EC technical solution. JAVIS has been actively involved in operational maintenance and database systems administration of the Electronic Commerce Infrastructure (ECI) and uniquely understands this requirement. JAVIS supports the EC/EDI Project office by providing Program Management and development support in the areas of overall EC/EDI Infrastructure Support, coordination of VAN and Gateway activities, Programmatic Documentation and Configuration Management. Accomplishments:. Developed an ORACLE Configuration Management Database to map Remedy Network Management System to Merant-Intersolv. Revised the Configuration Management (CM) Plan; and provided a Concept of Operations (CONOPS) in support of the Electronic Commerce Infrastructure (ECI).
